The two I love yous

Before I move over to the next things I felt like clearing up the I love yous in my last post, from the other kind. Theres all kinds of love out there, and two meanings (that I can think of ) for the words I love you .  Firstly-  theres the unconditional love we have for others. The kind of I love you that should be found and expressed in our relationships with those we care about. The kind of love that doesn't need us to be a part of the math. Its our genuine love, for them, as they are, its our wish to see them happy. In my last post I played with that idea a little- talking about someone I yet didn't know- or never might get to know, if thats how the cards would play out. But I cant help it, thinking about their happiness makes me happy, thankful. It may sound strange.. and maybe in that case I am , and will be proudly. But I do not think I am the only single out there thinking of that person and all the things we wished we could tell them, all the things we wished some

The Reasons I love you

Right.. I need to go and make more tea.........And I'm back........now this might sound a bit strange, and please feel free (and of course, what am I saying, you are Always free) to stop reading what I'm writing. Because this one (and the one I`ll be writing soon after this one) is about the love I have for him (hence You). This is for you.. wherever you are.. If you'll ever read this. I love you for who you are, I love you for exactly where you are in you're life right now. Where you might be. I love you for getting her flowers, a new pair of socks.. a hug.. you know, whatever she needs. She deserves that.. and if she doesn't... well...  I love you for being kind. I love you whether it's great, complicated or messy, I love you through all that you've done. Through all that you learned. Through all that you've grown. I love you when you feel like not setting down your feet next to your bed- I love you even when youre in that state- when you might be t

Do we interfere or look the other way ? Who's responsibility is it anyway ?

Ever witnessed mistreatment, or heard words that made you turn your head ?  Ever walked on as if what you witnessed was something normal- pretending like it never happened- that it's not up to you to stand up to what was being said ? Do you ever think who else might have heard it, who might hear it again-by the end of this day ? How they thought that it's accepted- to be talked to this way.  Have you ever thought who's business it is to teach our youngsters not to call each other names, have you ever let it continue, blaming the parents for their ways ? It's not our place to interfere, it's not our problem so why should we care, and god forbid- if we decided to say something- what if someone stared ? But what if we could change the current, help the river shift it's stream ? What if we could end a vicious circle even if it was "just a badmouthed kid who doesn't understand what it means".  What if we could change a life, or even just a day
